A journey through the pubs of Aberdeen

Here's an interesting read for lunchtime. Over on the Doric Columns website, there's an excellent potted history of pubs in the city, starting way back in 1535.



Torry's 1st Public House was named ' Le Sandy Velle' c. 1535 1874 several skeletons were unearthed in the grounds of Jessie Petries Inn a Hostelry that stood at the foot of Ferry Road.
