The Bay chippy in Stonehaven is gearing up for National Fish & Chip Day on Friday 5 June by offering fish supper lovers a year's supply of free nosh.
That's the main prize up for grabs with Calum Richardson, the owner and chef of The Bay, looking for the public to take selfies of themselves with a fish supper.
The competition, which launches on Monday 1 June, encourages everyone to post a photo of themselves with their meal from The Bay or any of The Bay merchandise on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram using the hashtag #fishandchipday with a mention of the award-winning restaurant.
Everyone who submits a photo will be entered into a prize draw to win a year's supply of fish suppers.
The competition will close at midnight on Friday June 5 and the winner will be picked at random on Monday June 8.
Calum told us: “This is a fantastic opportunity for the Bay to help promote and work with the rest of the UK in celebration of fish and chips.
"Having a National Fish & Chip Day in recognition of this iconic dish shows what a strong hold [the food] has in our wonderful country”.
He set up The Bay Fish & Chips in 2006 with his wife Lindsay and since then, they have steered their eaterie to the very top, including the British title, serving thousands of portions of fish and chips to customers and winning a number of accolades along the way.
So who will come up with the most innovative catch of the day?
