Aberdeen's ice cream parlours were doing a sweet trade on Thursday.
On a muggy morning, following the previous night's thunderstorm, customers were craving cold relief around the north east.
So how will local dessert fans react to the news that Cones & Candy in Westhill is launching a Supersize Summer event?
It's part of Feast North East and these monster creations should test even the most ardent aficionado of ice cream.
Dare you sample them? Or are these coming from a fridge too far?
This adds up to an Everest-sized challenge: it's a ten-scoop cone, packed with assorted flavours and plenty of trimmings.
The Mammoth Milkshake
This offers customers the opportunity to build their own giant shake, featuring as many different flavours as they choose.
The Cookie Monster
Here's a veritable Empire State building of desserts - a tower of ice cream, which seems to defy the laws of gravity.
Co-owner of Cones and Candy, Julie Gray, said: “We decided to host the Supersize Summer event throughout the Feast North East festival because we really wanted to offer families in the local and wider area a quirky, fun dessert all of the family could enjoy.
“It has been great seeing how positively the public have responded to the event and we are looking forward to welcoming even more customers to the shop, especially with this fantastic weather.
"A few individuals have tried to challenge their friends to eat the ten-scoop ice cream cone and the monstrous milkshake we have on offer."
