Kenny Milne is accustomed to getting special requests from his staff and customers.
So the Aberdeen butcher was intrigued when one of his trainees, Daniel Dewars, suggested creating a Jagermeister-flavoured brand of sausage.
That was on August 24. The next day, Kenny and his team sparked into gear and made the first batch of the bangers.
And there has been a phenomenal amount of interest in the new products since the public learned they were on the market.
The sausages consist of seasoned mixed pork, infused with the Jagermeister liqueur and a splash of Red Bull.
Kenny admits they might be an acquired taste. But they have certainly gone down a storm with his customers.
He told STV: "People like different flavours and don't just stick with traditional tastes these days.
"And, provided it is technically possible and there is a demand for it, we like to do a few things which are out of the ordinary.
"It was relatively straightforward to create the Jagerbomb sausages, and they have become a big talking point in the last few days.
"They're sweeter than your normal sausage, but young people, in particular, seem to like them.
"We already have a sweet chilli and an Irn-Bru-flavoured sausage and they have gained a positive reaction.
"And, just this Saturday [August 29], a customer asked me about introducing a doner kebab-style flavour."
The Jagerbomb products have been snapped up by customers and now Kenny is waiting to find out what people think of the flavour.
As he said: "Folk were in here, buying them in packs of four and six on Thursday and Friday and it was a nice weekend, so I imagine they appeared at a few barbecues.
"Now, we just need to get some feedback. Maybe, they're a good hangover cure. We'll soon find out."
