Young Padawans, the time has come to learn the way of the Force on your path to becoming Jedi.
Little fans of the Star Wars universe will be given the opportunity to be taught the ways of the force this weekend, learning Jedi mind tricks and undergoing training in how to use a lightsaber.
Taking place at the Disney Store from Friday, young Padawans will be given a cloak and lightsaber and upon graduation, they will be made a Jedi and awarded a medal.
The store will also host various giveways across the weekend to welcome the countdown to the film’s release in December.
The free classes come as the shop launches the official merchandise for The Force Awakens, the first film in the planned Star Wars trilogy following the company’s acquisition of Lucasfilm in 2012.
Craig Stevenson, manager at Bon Accord and St Nicholas centres, said: "The Disney Store has always been popular with shoppers at the Bon Accord mall and the addition of Star Wars to its product range will increase this even further.
"There was a real buzz of excitement this morning when the shop welcomed the first customers through its doors and with the free Jedi training for children and other giveaways taking place this weekend, it’s shaping up to be a must visit for all north east Star Wars fans."
The Star Wars – Ways of the Force Padawan Training takes place on Friday from 1pm, 3pm and 4pm and from 10am, 11am, 12pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm on Saturday.
