An Aberdeen road will close for two weekends to allow work on the city bypass to be carried out.
Road closures will be put in place on North Deeside Road to allow Scottish Water to carry out four trial holes on the A93 later this month.
The A93 will close to cars at the top of Milltimber Brae on Friday, May 29 to Monday, June 1 with diversions in place for motorists.
North Deeside Road will close from 8pm on Friday and will reopen at 6am on Monday morning, with works continuing the following weekend at the same times on June 5 to 8.
Buses will still be able travel on the restricted route.
When the diversions are in place Scottish Water will measure pipes from Invercannie Water Treatment Works so that treated water from an aqueduct can be diverted.
Once the water has been re-routed, road contractors will be able to build a bridge over the proposed bypass.
Water will then be diverted again across the bridge once it has been constructed.
